May 2nd - May 8th, 2015

It has been a quite interesting this week, we had strong wind which started showing up on Thursday afternoon and blew strongly every day since then. We began the week with medium swells that grew in size as the weekend approached. The early part of the week we saw swells at 2-4 feet, near the end of the week on Thursday swell was around 6 to 9 feet. The combination of large swells and strong winds resulted in the Port Captain closing the port on Saturday afternoon, and on Sunday it was closed to small boats such as Pangas.

The number of Striped Marlin still remains low, we spot a few during the week. Yellowfin tuna sometimes show up in our area, but this week was slow in Los Cabos, there were still some Dorado being found. We spot also Sierra Mackerel, Jack Crevalle and Skipjack around.

Here the count week, with our best boats and captains.
